Beyond the Bridge: From Healthcare Student to Published Scholar
We are thrilled to continue our alumni series by celebrating Hannah Huff-Guillory from the Class of 2019!
Hannah’s path to becoming a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is a masterclass in dedication. After graduating from BCHS, she earned her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Lamar University. Today, she is completing her clinical fellowship at Kid’s Therapy SET and providing life-changing hippotherapy (treatment with the help of a horse) at Stable-Spirit in Vidor!
Not only is she a clinician, but she’s also a published researcher, contributing her expertise to scholarly journals.
Hannah traces her healthcare roots back to the BCHS CNA Program, and she gives a special shout-out to Mrs. Robin Peveto and Mrs. Laurie Kosh for their mentorship during her time as a Cardinal.️
Hannah’s advice for current students: "Try everything... even if you don’t know what you want to do. Sometimes what you try and dislike can lead you to something you love."
Please join us in celebrating Hannah’s hard work and her commitment to helping others find their voice!
